Video realizado en colaboración con Icetrip a partir de material grabado para el performance "Teoría Estética o cómo terminar el performance" presentado en el Festival Transmuted 2010 en el Centro de las Artes de San Luis Potosí, antigua penitenciaría estatal de magnifica arquitectura panóptica de finales del siglo XIX, renovada para albergar las escuelas de arte del estado.
El término Stasis (del griego στάσις estado de reposo) puede referir a:
#Un estado interno de reposo en el que todas las fuerzas son equivalentes y opuestas por tanto se cancelan mutuamente.
#Thucydides lo define como un set de sintomas indicando una perturbación interna tanto en individuos como en naciones.
La acción recuerda los métodos de tortura aplicados a individuos secuestrados que son privados de la libertad, del movimiento, de la posibilidad de ver y hablar. El plástico negro se cierne sobre el cuerpo, del tipo que se usa para contener basura, producido como tantos otros plásticos como derivado del petroleo. Ese momentum es una metáfora de la situación política de los ciudadanos de México y otros tantos paises que luchan por liberarse de la tensión entre gobiernos y crimen organizado siendo a veces dificil distinguir cual es cual.

The action evokes the methods of torture applied to kidnapped individuals that are private of the freedom, the movement, the possibility of seeing and of speaking. The black plastic wraps the body, the type of plastic bag used to contain garbage, produced like so many other plastics as derived from oil. That momentum is a metaphor of the political situation of the citizens of Mexico and other so many countries that fight to free themselves of the tension between governments and organized crime being sometimes difficult to distinguish who is what.
